Care-a-Van Surprises TAO North Members

Imagine being surprised by a parade of people who love and support you. TAO North members got to experience that firsthand!

During this uncertain time, employees from our TAO North program in Orange County, CA, wanted to show members that they are still here to serve them and remind them of the continuous support that they have from Telecare. They decided to organize a “care-a-van!”

The care-a-van was made up of 10 cars full of inspirational signage, care packages containing skills worksheets, coping skills handouts, and food.

As you can probably imagine, the care-a-van was a HIT! Members were excited to see staff and appreciated the care packages. One of the members happened to be celebrating a birthday that day and became emotional hearing the staff sing happy birthday. Another member, who was really struggling with isolation and social distancing, was very grateful for the visit because she thrives on interpersonal contact.
