Orange County Programs Celebrating Unity at Orange County Black History Parade & Festival

Despite rain three days before and after, the Annual Orange County Black History Parade & Unity Festival held on a beautiful day in Anaheim, was a vibrant showcase of unity and community spirit.

The theme, “Our Outward Expression of Unity Reflects Our Inward Unity of Purpose,” was supported by over 107 Vendors, including Telecare Orange County at Booth #315 of the Health Village as well as Orange County Health Care Agency, Norooz Clinic Foundation, Pacific Clinics/REI, CalOptima Health and many others. Anaheim Ducks, Anaheim Fire & Rescue, Disney, OCTA, and small businesses were there, too. The parade, including the Anaheim Mayor, council members, and local organizations, was well attended.

Telecare’s active participation showcased our support for community partners and highlighted our dedication to Cultural Humility, Equity, and Inclusion (CHEI). At Telecare, we’re committed to championing cultural diversity and fostering an environment where every individual feels supported, valued, and a true sense of belonging. Our engagement in events like this one reflects our unwavering commitment to advocating for change and addressing healthcare disparities on a broader scale.
