My name is Chris Blum (He/Him).

I am the Administrator of the Casa de Esperanza Suenos programs. I’ve been at Telecare for seven years.

In my view, the best part of my job is working with a group of wonderful people and having the opportunity to help our residents with their recovery journey.

What makes me really proud of my team and the work we do is when I see staff and residents enjoying each other’s company and knowing we are providing a safe, loving environment.

When I’m having a tough day, the thing that keeps me going is knowing I have the support of my friends, family, teammates, and dogs. I also enjoy smacking the golf ball as hard as I can.

My favorite quote or personal motto is, "The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination" -- Carl Rogers.

If I were to describe Telecare in three words, they would be hope, kindness, and love.
