Sajana Sangar Is Cordilleras Suites’ Artist Superstar

Sajana Sagar is an outstanding team lead and assistant director at Cordilleras Suites who always goes the extra mile to connect with the outside community and beautify the program's surroundings.

Sajana displayed her personal art at the Redwood City library in an offsite clinical meeting with social workers Kyla Valenti, Mike Slear, James Murch, and Shavon Minor from each of the suites. This was an excellent opportunity for her to share her art with a broader audience and the larger community. She took two shuttle buses filled with residents from the suites to see her art display, brought them to the library, and helped them connect with people outside their community! The trip even included a stop at Starbucks!

Art has been shown to be beneficial for mental health in various ways. For one, it can help to reduce stress and anxiety levels. Additionally, art can also be used as a form of self-expression and can help to boost self-esteem and confidence. Furthermore, art can provide an outlet for emotions that may otherwise be difficult to express. Finally, participating in the arts has also been linked with increased well-being and happiness.

Thank you, Cordilleras Suites, for a lovely program outing, and thank you, Sajana, for sharing your beautiful art.
