We would like to share a message of hope, recovery, and appreciation that was sent to program leadership at Vista and Voice from a former client.

The message is for every single employee at these two programs. Hopefully, this serves as a tremendous lift of spirits for the team on the front lines and a solid reminder that your work changes lives. Thank you for all that you do!

“This is a letter of appreciation. I believe you all have given me dedication and exceptional care. Things have gotten much better for me, and you have more than done your part.

Thinking about my recovery, I know I received the help I needed. I want you to know I noticed and valued the services you all gave me.

I thought it would be sort of sad to just say goodbye and never see you all again, so I decided I would at least write you a letter to remember me by. There were a lot of good times; I wasn’t just provided with mental health care, though friendship also, which is really a good way to do the job you do.

I hope you know that my life is going to be very good from here on out. I want to tell you you have been a part of that and I know that!”
