Program Type: Mental Health Urgent Care
To Make Referrals: WALK-INS WELCOME. Referrals are made by the RUHS-BH system of care or their designees (e.g., private inpatient psychiatric facilities), law enforcement, emergency departments, mobile crisis response teams, homeless teams, substance use, county clinics, schools, family, friends, as well as self-referrals.

Who We Serve: Adolescents, ages 13-17, and adults, ages 18 and older.
Hours of Operation: Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
About the Program: At the Riverside Desert Mental Health Urgent Care in Palm Springs, CA, we believe recovery starts from within and that our job is to do whatever it takes to help you cope with crisis and gain skills to deal with your challenges more effectively. Our voluntary, 12-chair facility includes a full staff of clinicians, psychiatric prescribers, nursing staff, and peer specialists who are all here to help you on your path.
Your recovery plan starts with you. Upon arrival, a diverse clinical team will provide an individualized assessment and work with you every step of the way to resolve your current crisis in ways that support your goals in life.
