LAOA's "Aren't You PLAID It's Fall?" Day

Fall is a season of transformation, and in the heart of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Older Adults (LAOA) program decided to embrace this change in a truly unique and unforgettable way. They coined the event "Aren't You PLAID It's Fall?" day, destined to be filled with joy, laughter, and heartwarming memories.

The facility planned a series of delightful activities to mark the occasion. The centerpiece of their celebration was the creation of their very own pumpkin patch. With hard work and creativity, they transformed a section of their facility into a charming pumpkin wonderland. Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes adorned the patch, each carefully placed by the team with love and care.

A fall celebration wouldn't be complete without fun and whimsy. On the day of the event, the LAOA team decided to have a "Flannel Day." Everyone arrived wearing their coziest plaid flannel shirts and scarves, adding a touch of warmth and rustic charm to the atmosphere.

"Aren't You PLAID It's Fall?" day at LAOA was a celebration and validation of the power of community and the joy of coming together. It’s a comforting reminder that embracing the season and sharing laughter with colleagues can inspire and motivate us even in our busy schedules.
