Telecare Welcomes Three New CRTs in Los Angeles County

Welcome, Citrus House, Olive House, and Magnolia House!

Last week, Telecare hosted an open house for our new Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) programs opening in Los Angeles County: Citrus House, Olive House, and Magnolia House!

All three CRTs were created to help individuals 18 years and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis. These voluntary 16-bed CRTs include a team of nurses, psychiatrists, clinicians, peer specialists, and recovery specialists providing support 24 hours a day. Citrus House, Olive House, and Magnolia House will provide a safe, respectful environment where clients can receive immediate, individualized assistance to stabilize symptoms, avoid the need for higher levels of care, and receive appropriate referrals to community-based resources.

Olive House is the first of sixteen CRTs being opened by Los Angeles County in the coming year. The next CRT, Citrus House, will be opening in Downey, CA, by the end of September. This will be followed by Magnolia House, located on the County/USC campus in Los Angeles, in October.
